Chris Diersen, sculpture.
The future.
Coming soon...

Hell, it's been 3 years since I added anything to this site. Hope not to have disappointed anyone... I have taken up a number of divergent interests, including making videos of some of the great places in the American West that all Americans should see before they die. Not to be morbid, but you know what I mean. I've been looking into starting my own quarry out here in California, but can't decide on Alabaster or Soapstone. In the long run, Alabaster is kinder to the lungs, though it tends to dry out your skin. I have, of late, lost the grasp of the rasp, and have made very little stone sculpture as more and more of my time is devoted to work, hiking, and exploring the mountains that surround the area in which I live. Please enjoy the work that is still here, and know that more will be forthcoming when I drop some of the heaps of "hobbies" I've adopted. In the meantime, please take a moment to look at my flickr site to see my photography, which I am more serious about all the time.
